NDM is a family-owned hospitality business that started in F&B and is now expanding into vacation rentals. This candidate will be responsible for all sales and marketing related activities for our growing business in the branded Vacation Home Resort portfolio. We are creating a new sector in hospitality by creating identifiable brands with consistent accommodations, services and amenities within the vacation rental space. JOB SUMMARY

Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating group business to meet/exceed sales goals. As a Group Sales Manager, you will solicit, negotiate and book new/repeat business within various markets i.e incentive, meetings, conventions, via outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking, etc. Requirements of the position include: a thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the hospitality sales professions; knowledge of NDM Hospitality products and services; effective communication skills, and the ability to negotiate, influence and sell.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Sell and book accommodations for Luxury Branded Vacation Homes. ¬†
  • Pro-actively identify and solicit accounts within assigned market.
  • Sell and book new & return groups by phone, social media, outside calls and telemarketing.
  • Sell Multi-year contracts to assigned Group Sales market
  • Proven record in meeting or exceeding KPI's and Sales Goals.
  • Must be a self-starter team player that contributes positive energy.
  • Develop and execute Sales Action plans.
  • Manage Sales Funnel and Book of business to maximize revenue and ROI.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling Group Travel to corporate, SMERF, family reunions, religious and/or sports groups, Weddings etc..
  • Identify and attend key industry trade shows and events.
  • Travel and attend trade shows, sales meetings and business meetings.
  • Ability to travel, work weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Must have the ability to work cohesively with the team, identify and communicate new processes and keep everyone informed accordingly..
  • Adhere to company Brand Standards

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • College Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 2- 3 years' experience in Hospitality Management Resort Sales
  • Provide timely responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Maintain up-to-date contact and account information in CRM and Delphi
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Excellent ability to conduct group presentations, written and oral.
  • Detail minded and strong organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize when necessary.
  • Strong business planning, account planning and budge management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative to develop strategies that will drive revenue
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Delhi. Knowland and Salesforce.
  • Identify, acquire and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation programs
  • Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.
  • Host onsite contacts and groups and group leaders
  • Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events.
  • Ability to travel

 Physical requirements

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required including working weekends, holidays & hours exceeding 40+
  • Ability to walk long distance is required
